Short Film Festival

WARNING:
the final steps of June 2026 edition has been held in Lecce on Saturday, June 20th, along with Corto Weekend contest.

It is a project of the PartyVolontario Social Promotion Association along with EventiAvanti, an event and entertainment organization agency.

Since 2015, under this name and website, we have promoted the organization of International Film Festivals for the following short film categories:

1. SHORT WEEK END Film FESTIVAL, with two award categories,
   one dedicated to international short films with social themes,
   the other dedicated to actors/actresses under 17.

2. VW BUS SHORT Film FESTIVAL
   dedicated to international short films in which a Volkswagen Bus, Caravelle, Westfalia, Transport or other vintage VW models or Beetles play a role.

3. Otranto short film festival.
   This 2026 edition offers an authentic and inclusive overview, bringing to the big screen, in the historical and architectural contexts of Otranto and Salento, stories of life, popular traditions, and artistic expressions across all sectors. Otranto also offers a glimpse into cinematic stories featuring the sea, in all its forms and locations. Each short will be a window onto the world, capable of telling a story in a few intense minutes and lastingly moving.
